BUSIEST WEEKEND EVER

On the agenda.... Class on Saturday Morning.... which I took a final exam... then drive out to Thousand Oaks to help mom with Quickbooks... I was up till 3am WOW! Then Sunday AM worked some more and drove back in time to shower and head out to the Westsdie for fun day with Kristin Kramer! And it was fun indeed..... the plan was... shopping in Beverly Hills ... then home to cook and host West Side Supper Club Meeting #2 :)

WHEW!

I was odly chipper when we went shopping.... regardless of how little sleep I got the night before!! The weather was absolutely SUPERB!!! We went into lots of shops and Kristin Bought her self a few pairs of shades (ADORABLE) then we were walking around and stumbled upon Wolford Store... let me give you a little background... Kristin has been talking about these tights for months... I thought she was a little odd for being so specific on the brand of tights she wanted... until I went into the store... they are AMAZING .. the selection .. .incredible.... and they are such incredible quality its rediculous! I ended up going home with a beautiful navy blue pair that I left the store wearing.... and it was sooo worth it... something about wearing those beauties it just makes your day better......

Oh did I mention we blasted old school hip-hop when we drove around and Kristin and I found that we shared a similar knowledge of rap artists :) Topped the day off with delish dinner and good company... needless to say I slept pretty great Sunday night !!! Vintage Treasures!!

Yesterday I spent 4 hours at the Rose Bowl swapmeet with Dad and Sunny... it was a gorgeous day and we had a blast!!! I found a few new treasures to add to my collection....

I found this beauty at Salvation Army last weekend .. they were having a 50% off sale... 23 bucks!! And she works!! Dad is gonna give her a tune up!

and of course my "out of the closet" chair for 20 bucks!!

Friday Film Day!

So Kristin Kramer (my work buddy) and I decided we should spend some time taking pictures with our film SLR's some weekend... then we were getting so excited about it... we thought what about doing a lunch time photography session... we are surrounded by so many historical buildings and it has been so gorgeous out!! So Jean Friday we decided to spend our lunch break outside.. and it was a BLAST! I can't wait to get the pictures developed to show you!!

We also want to spend some time one weekend developing our own film.. found a darkroom you can rent just outside of downtown! FUN FUN FUN!

I only had color film this time so gonna have to pay to have it developed.... which reminds me I need to find a place that will do a great job..... stay tuned for pictures from that day!!

Today im 25!!

My Birthday fell on a Thursday and although I already felt spoiled and loved from our fun Birthday weekend...It got even better~

Downtown was pretty on that day!!! The tallest building is my work building!!



I brought some doughnuts for my work buddies... they were very greatful! as was I... I enjoyed a maple bar myself!!

Huntington Library

I was in the mood to get out of the house.. my honey was busy working so I took a quick trip over to the Huntington Library to walk the gardens!! What a treat!! It was just me and my camera! Look how gorgeous it was out!

New Chair!!! (well new to us)

So Jeff and I had a fun weekend!! Saturday we decided to visit numerous "thrift stores" in the neighborhood in hopes of finding some "cheap" treasures... we hit lots of places

First Salvation Army in Pasadena.... (great selection.. but a little pricey)

Then Goodwill in Pasadena (ehhh).. then Out of the Closet in Pasadena (ehh)....

and Finally Out of the Closet in South Pasadena (SUPER GREAT), no joke 2 blocks from my house!

Much to my surprise we did find a chair!! and I LOVE IT!! Best part is the price tag $20

Yippeee!! It fits right in at our home......its super cozy and comfy plus it rocks & swivels!!

Lovely Weekend!

Woke up early to head to class! Downtown was absolutely gorgeous! I need to carry my camera around more often so I can capture its beauty!! But here are a few shots I took on our patio! I LOVE SUCULENTS!! (THANKS DOTTY!!

Class got out just before noon and I decided to run over to the flower mart... they close at 12:00 so I wasn't expecting to find anything good.. much to my surprise I scored some absolutely gorgeous ROSES!! 6 Dozen to be exact... for a price tag of........ drum roll please............... $20.00 and these weren't some old whithering roses.... they were gorgeous long stem ones!!! The guy even through in some hydrangas !! WOWEY that was superb!! This photo is of 4 dozen we took to Jeff's grama later that day!!

Sunday was sooo amazing!! I had zero plans and the entire day to play! I ran lots of errands... well more like went shopping around... Home Goods... Americana.... it was sunny and beautiful!! That morning my honey and I grabbed breakfast... and brought it home to eat with our windows wide open... LOVE the sunshine!!
